This Privacy Policy explains how The Wedding Console ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS app and related services. We built the app to help wedding studios and the couples they work with stay organised — not to profile you or sell your data. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Who this applies to
The app has two kinds of users: Studios & team members (vendors who run their business in the app) and Couples (clients who plan and receive their wedding deliverables). This policy covers both.
Information we collect

We do not collect location, financial information, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or analytics tracking identifiers.
How we use your information
- To provide the core features: CRM, production tracking, scheduling, deliverables, chat, and the couple planning experience.
- To connect a studio and a couple when one of you enters a connect code.
- To send on-device reminders for deadlines and notify you of new messages while the app is in use.
- To power the in-app AI assistant (“Ask Rel” and Crisis Assist), which sends the messages you type to it to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate helpful replies — see “How your information is stored and shared” below.
- To respond to support requests and the feedback you send us.
How your information is stored and shared
App data and accounts are stored using Supabase (our hosting and database provider), which processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy terms. Sign-in can be handled through Google if you choose that method. We share your information only:
- With the people you work with in the app — e.g. a studio and the couple it is connected to can see the shared chat, event details and deliverables relevant to that connection; team members see the jobs assigned to them.
- With service providers (like Supabase and Google sign-in) strictly to operate the app.
- With our AI provider, Anthropic — when you use the in-app assistant (“Ask Rel” or Crisis Assist), the messages you send to the assistant are transmitted to Anthropic’s Claude AI to generate a reply. This is used only to power the assistant feature; it is not used for advertising and is not used to train AI models. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information to the assistant.
- If required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Completed clients are automatically archived after a grace period (around 90 days) and can then be deleted by the studio. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below; we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
Security
Access to data is protected by authentication and database-level access rules so that users can only see the records they're entitled to. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
The app is intended for professional studios and adult couples. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email.
